The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. We shared a bathroom, which turned out to be no inconvenience whatsoever. We highly recommend Guesthouse Casa Esperanza in Basel and hope you take advantage of Kai’s wonderful hospitality.

The property is in a great location, easy access to old town. We were on top floor in room described as family room. The room actually has 2 rooms within it, so one massive bedroom/ living room area with fridge and coffee maker, and the second being a separate single room. Beautiful bathroom as well. Very peaceful, exceptionally clean, spacious and lovely decor.

Muy bien ubicado.a 15 min de la estación de tren. Habitación funcional cómoda y limpia, con un gran ventanal. Baño compartido moderno y muy limpio. Posibilidad de usar la cocina, también moderna y funcional.

The place is great and lovely with all you might possibly need ranging from some relaxing quality table and other quality things such as barbecue in the garden to have fun and enjoy for a couple of hours to indoor furnitures and facilities which will be satisfied that you‘ll feel like home. Host is friendly and kind, facilities are more than enough and it’ll be your choice again if you go back to Basel as I will 🙂🌿

Everything in the house is steeped in history, charm, and beauty. Immediately upon walking in the gate to the property, you are greeted with an elegant garden. At the door, the wise and wonderful Jean embraces you with a larger-than-life personality. Daisy, with her warmth and loveliness, becomes no stranger too. The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.
