Villa Jakobsbrunnen is an oasis of calm, grace and human warmth - yet in the middle of the town and close to all public transport. As the name suggests, this was a former patrician house in the middle of a park full of trees and sculptures. In the summer, the park must be a wonderful place to stroll around and enjoy the surroundings - or to sit and enjoy a book. Right after passing through the gates, Nicole, a perfect hostess, greeted me in front of the villa. She took the time to guide me through the B&B set-up that made my stay comfortable. As I was travelling for work and had a conference call, Nicole accommodated my request to arrive an hour earlier than foreseen. She made sure that I was well-settled in and walk me through the simple steps to connect to the secure wifi. My spacious room - far bigger and taller than in modern buildings - was up two flights of stairs and down a wide corridor. An individual bathroom with a shower is just outside the room. The kitchen offers a well-filled fridge and cupboard for breakfast. There are even kitchen utensils for those who want to make a warm meal. The villa is located five minutes off the main road and the main pedestrian town centre with its shops and restaurants. For those using public transport, the villa is convenient to get to either on foot (a15-minute walk) or on a bus (a three-minute ride).

The room was perfect with all the needed essentials including chocolate! The host was so friendly and met our every need. The breakfast they served there was the best we had in our entire week trip to Switzerland.

A large common space opens to a small inner courtyard with some tables and benches. Tram 2,3 at 5minutes by foot from the location will bring you to the lake and the northern bank. The room is spacious, with twin beds. The bathroom is fitted with all facilities.

B&B Bad Tiefenau, HAUS AN DER QUELLE nabízí restauraci, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Messe Zurich se nachází 34 km odtud. What a beautiful stay it was. Unfortunately just for 1 night since it was a car road trip stop, but would love to come back one day! Very peaceful area, surrounded by nature and inside the house is just a package of warm and welcoming energy. The hosts were super nice! The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional with freshly baked bread, local selection of cheese, farmers eggs and home made marmalade. Also my dog was very friendly welcomed. Thank you very much for everything, I wish I could return tomorrow:)

Jhorn was a great host and was very attentive to all of our needs. He prepared a fantastic breakfast everyday and the room was clean and super cozy. It was just perfect which made our stay very comfortable and welcoming.

The owner guided everything very well. Although, the hotel is is half an hour walking distance from the Kloten bus stop, however Owner himself picked me up from there. Overall, he is giving good services at reasonable price.

Nothing was too much effort, from letting us park our motorbikes in their garage to the best breakfast spread on the trip 😍. The loft rooms were originally built for their children but they let them out to travellers. The house is very eclectic and filled with memories of bygone times and is fascinating. Very special people, thank you again it was a pleasure to meet you both.
