We had an amazing stay at Vista Linda. We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.

Located in front of Barbacoa Beach this eco-lodge offers rooms with garden views and a private beach, within a 10-minute drive from Playa Blanca Beach. The place is in a good location, not too far from the entrance of Playa Blanca, which makes it way less crowded, less noisy. The room is fine for the money you pay. Due to the bleach's location, most places don't have power during the day and also are short on water. So you gotta keep in mind when going there. The host was pretty nice and helpful.

Great decoration style and ambient to stay safe and as home. El Mono and his wife are real super hosts. Great deal! the place is just as it appears on the app. Very responsive people and kind hosts. The place is gorgeous, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the ocean view is simply amazing. Worth to be there!

Carlos is just the best and we loved our stay with him and his dogs and would return anytime. He's also a great chef and Spanish-teacher who makes you feel very well taken care of during your stay.

Playa Blanca is a touristy spot in the days, however, this hostel is really tranquil in the evenings, and mornings in particular. We had the balcony area to chill in during the days so your away from any crowds, still looking out on the beach and able to just walk down to get in the water when you wish.
