Carlos, our host, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, the place was clean, quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable, near facilities and we could park our motorcycles in a sheltered parking spot. Definitely strongly recommended.

Carole & Paul are the nicest hosts. The room is beautiful, everything is new and super clean. They make fresh breakfast every morning and it’s fenomenal, super fresh, large portions and we got every morning a different breakfast (we stayed 2 nights). The view is breathtaking over the lake. They have free kayaks to use aswel. Highly recommend!

I would like highly recommend the place.

Our first visit to Arenal was made memorable by staying here! Our balcony opened up to the volcano. And the lake is right there too! ALL Arenal activities are close to this property. Mistico Hanging bridges, Arenal 1968 Trails, all lake activities are 100 feet away and a short walk up the road takes you to Shailee’s viewpoint. Another memorable view from there. Food is also excellent! We had the local sea bass one night-it’s 3 huge fish. Pura Vida

Our cabin was spacious and immaculate, the host was very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent (I recommend the Dutch pancakes). The location is very convenient as it's in between the Monteverde and La Fortuna areas, which make for great day trips. There are also very nice restaurants in close proximity (walk or short drive). I can't recommend it enough.

Hotel Nepenthe B&B is located 4 km from the Arenal Volcano National Park and 3 km from the Arenal Lake. It features a hot tub, sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free breakfast. It is a stunning place, with a breathtaking view of the lake and volcano. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Fabian is an absolute star, I highly recommend a massage with him, it was by far the best experience I have had. The restaurant team are also fabulous, thanks to Juan and the ladies for making delicious food and being very hospitable. We really didn't want to leave, it was a perfect end to our 10 day trip in Costa Rica.
