Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant was also excellent but not open all the time. Pool was a nice area to chill. Beach only steps away.

Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄

Primo and his wife welcomed us perfectly, taking care of all our needs, recommending good restaurants and a tour guide. The tranquility and atmosphere around were exactly what we needed after landing in Costa Rica.

The interior design, the friendliness of our host couple, Luna the dog, the calmness of the place (it’s a little bit far of the center but you can have bikes for rent which is pretty easy and the fact you’re being a little bit out of town makes everything so peaceful : city noises are replaced by the nature ones.

Unikátní klidně místo uprostřed přírody. Gloria a Sergio byly úžasní, pohostinni a vždy ve všem vyšli vstříc. Doporučuji všem, kdo má rád klid a chce velmi příjemné hostitele:))

Kalawala se nachází v destinaci Puerto Viejo a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Pláž Playa Negra je 1 km daleko. A beautifully furnished house in a good location very close to the beach. It was clean and comfortable.

Black Bamboo se nachází v destinaci Puerto Viejo a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, terasu a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a výhledem na hory. We loved the location because it was quiet at night, only a 10 minute walk into town, and we felt very safe walking even at night. The parking area is enclosed so the car was secure. Nadia was a really wonderful host - very kind, gracious and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The room had its own mini-refrigerator plus we had access to a full outdoor kitchen, well-stocked with cooking supplies. We just loved lounging on our private balcony and at the shaded pool. The best part was that Black Bamboo provided free unlimited filtered water to drink and morning coffee. After traveling through Costa Rica and seeing how expensive things are (including water), we really appreciated being able to fill our water bottles there. Overall, this was a terrific experience and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great breakfast. Very friendly host. For most of the night a very active firefly flew around the roof of our tent (outside the mosquito netting) which gave a very romantic feel to our stay :)
