Our stay at this beautiful accommodation in Matapalo was simply fantastic! From the very first moment, we felt welcome, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. The surrounding area and the village itself are lovely and perfect for relaxation – at the same time, we were able to spot some amazing wildlife, such as macaws and sloths. It is conveniently located between Manuel Antonio and Uvita, making it easy to explore both areas. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and of the highest quality. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The hosts provided excellent tips for excursions and activities in the area. You can truly feel that they run this place with passion and dedication! Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning based on a selection of options, accompanied by a small bowl of fruit and freshly brewed coffee. We can 100% recommend this accommodation! If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, and nature-inspired stay, this is the perfect place for you. We would definitely come back!

From the moment we arrived Sergio was the consummate host, helping with luggage, showing us around the place, and the room. Everything about the place was clean, tidy and well cared for. The room was as described, and very comfortable, with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent, a great choice of fruit, granola, eggs, toast, fruit juice and good coffee, all served with a lovely smile from Sergio and Katya. Then we had a disaster - on arrival at our next stay, some 4 hours away, we realised we had left a purse containing driving licence, ID cards, credit cards etc in the room safe. We contacted Sergio and he sprang into action, packaging the purse up and sending it by post to our final destination. He was so kind, cheerful and helpful throughout our stay, the very best Booking.com host we've ever had. Thank you again Sergio!!!

Friendly and helpful owners, quiet location in the midst of nature. Delicious food at the Chillax Bistro. Lovely pool. Carlos and his son, Charlie, went out of their way to way to make us feel welcome. Loved seeing all the wildlife around the property.

She really made our stay great and even provided us with a late check out as we were leaving at 2pm. It’s low season at the moment so we had the place to ourselves, the kitchen was great, had everything we needed and there’s a supermarket right next door. Also had a fridge in our room which was really handy. We did book our tours in advance but we wish we had of booked through Lily as she provides a discount. We loved the personal touches of people who stayed there signing messages on the wall and the hammocks out the back were cute too.

The friendliest place in Uvita. The owners were very kind and helpful. Nice and quite place with a lovely perks.

The place was very peaceful and overlooked the mountains. The hot water in the shower was another plus! My siblings and I were staying there during Easter and Arelys surprised us with a little Easter basket of goodies :') Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
