Chloe and her husband were so accommodating - we arrived late with two small boys and that wasn’t a problem at all. They have two miniature ponies and hens which were a big hit! We would love to come back. It is a real gem.

A continental breakfast is available at the bed and breakfast. An 18th century typical old French style house that has been lovingly restored and decorated to make it feel like home as soon as you walk through the front door. Alfonso and Luis are two of the nicest, friendliest people you will ever meet, and will give you a very warm welcome to their house, which they are justifiably very proud of. They are always available to offer advice and are very knowledgeable about the town of Amboise and the surrounding area. Breakfast is served around a communal table in the conservatory and is a great way to get to know your fellow guests. The food is plentiful and amazingly fresh and it is a great start to the day. The star of the show is undoubtably Pol the cat, who is a small, ginger bundle of fur who will almost certainly come and introduce himself to you at some point during your stay. He likes a tickle under his chin but he is most happy just keeping you company and sitting by you, we loved him. I was unfortunately not very well before and during my stay so we did not get an opportunity to view what looks to be a beautiful little town, so it is a good excuse for us to visit again next year which we certainly will do.
