We had a very warm welcome from Marco and Anna (four legged furry funimal) after a 9 hour drive which was wonderful; thank you Marco. Our room and bathroom facilities were immaculate to say the least. Being of a modern industrialised look/feel it is crisp white and minimalistic; great stylised imagery of the local area on the walls adds to the ambience of where you are which is a lovely touch. You are given keys and a fob for your own ability to come and go separately to the main house entrance this avoiding disturbing Marco which is thoughtful. We had 1 dog (Siberian Husky) with us that had full access to the immaculate rear garden of our room.

Wow, this place really is amazing! A hidden gem! We booked based on the reviews alone really and happy we trusted them. We were looking for a lovely rested trip straight after Christmas to eat cheese, drink wine and relax by the fire. We had all of this and more. It's very easy to find and driving up to the property is beautiful, the chateau is really amazing. Staying on the grounds and having the view of the chateau for the window is so picturesque. The property is so so cosy, the fire and that living area really makes the space feel homely. We had low temperatures and frost while we were there and didn't feel cold with the fire and heaters, it heats up fast. The kitchen facilities were great too, everything we needed. But the best part for sure was the breakfast! Everyday it was different and everything was homemade. It felt really special and the best food we ate on our trip! We had a tour of the grounds with the owners which was lovely, they've done so much and so much more to come, we need to visit again in a couple of years to see the additions. They are very welcoming people and did a lot for us to make our stay a comfy one. We walked to the nearest village which was nice and there was a small shop and patisserie. We drove to lots of the surrounding towns too, Montreiul-sur-mer is definitely worth a visit. It really was a magical stay and exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful gorgeous decor, everything new and clean, lovely designs, every last touch thought of. Very easy journey to Eurotunnel. Lovely family room with separate room for kids, plus books and toys. We really enjoyed the peaceful stay over on a long drive of two days. The host was very welcoming, kind and friendly.

Location is perfect either for a visit to Boulogne Sur Mer which is around 15 mins away or for crossing the channel. We used it for the former. The propoerty is away from main roads so quiet during the evening. Beautifully renovated property with ample parking space. The bedroom had all the facilities you would expect and more. The hosts were perfect and friendly and the breakfast was exceptional.

A recently renovated guest house set in Campigneulles-les-Petites, Après la pluie features a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.
