Rooms are large, with very complete kitchen facilities, including fridge, refrigerator, etc., which makes that you can easily stay for long periods. Added bonus: the house is very eco-friendly. Support from the owner was very good (he definitely can provide good advice on what to do in Orkney). The location is ideal to explore the Orkney Mainland, and is close to all archaeological locations and from Kirkwall. Free parking is available on the property.

Virginia is an amazing host, is a great communicator and took great care of us and even gave us some tips on what we could visit in our limited time on the island. The views of the sunset from the living area, which was very comfortable, were amazing, The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good and generous, and set us up for a long day of travel. The location of the BnB on the north of Mainland was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend Viking's View.

She gave us a wealth of suggestions of hikes, restaurants and things to fo on Orkney. She provided a huge breakfast, cooked whatever we wished as well as juice, fruit,yoghurt, toast etc. The accommidation is a large private bedroom, separate den , and bathroom. Thr view andbthe garden was very nice to sit in and watch the afternoon sun. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect -11 out of 10 rating

A huge room with a magnificent view and an extremely comfortable bed with every convenience. A newly built house, thoughtfully designed in every detail. Breakfast included homemade products from Teresa—freshly baked bread, jams, spiced salt, and eggs from her own chickens. Teresa and Malcom made us feel at home and were incredibly patient—we had trouble arriving due to the ferry, and they waited for us well beyond the check-in time. Teresa and her cats gave us plenty of moments of laughter :-)
