The award-winning Killaran House is located within a few minutes’ walk from Killarney city centre, bus and train stations. The manager/owner was friendly and the welcome felt personal.

The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, the location is absolutely amazing - Straight in the touristy center, however the windows did great job absorbing any noise.

Breakfast served daily with freshly brewed Arabica coffee, loose-leaf breakfast tea and a buffet table with homemade breads, yogurts, preserves, honey, cheese, cereals, fresh fruits and juice. A cooked to order breakfast is also available. We loved the wonderful warm welcome & breakfast chatter. The rooms are beautiful, newly renovated,clean & the beds & sheets comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, made to order & most of ingredients locally sourced.

I can’t remember when was the last time I had such an outstanding experience with an accommodation. Christelle and Emmanuel have a comfortable, beautifully decorated house. Their attention to detail is obvious everywhere you look at: from the blankets they handed us when we were in the front yard, to the cutlery we used, you can tell that everything was so carefully chosen. Breakfast was delicious, and included everything you can wish for: eggs cooked however you like, toasts, bacon, tomatoes “provençal”, homemade muffins and cake, and much more. The surroundings are beautiful and the front yard is so peaceful and quiet, you can only hear the birds chirping. Christelle and Emmanuel made sure to make our experience special, and I’m sure all guests feel the same way. Can’t recommend their house enough!

The units at the guest house are equipped with a seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. A nicely renovated old hotel in a beautiful setting, a few minutes from the ocean. The apartment was very cosy, with lovely wallpaper and a very comfortable bed. Melissa the owner kindly told us about the history of the hotel while we had a wonderful breakfast. The place has a lounge area with antique furniture, ideal for groups.
