They gave us excellent instructions for parking close to La Lupa, a map full of great eating suggestions, sights to see, and walking tips. La Lupa itself was bright and modern, tastefully decorated, and well set up for easy access for guests to go in and out. They had a comfortable bed, a small fridge, and a great sized bathroom with divine products for showering, etc. The room also had a little balcony that at the right time of year would be quite enjoyable - a bit too cold for us this trip. The location is superb and within walking distance to all of Matera.

We were staying in a villa in Puglia and booked a last minute stay to experience Matera in the day and night. The apartment is a great location with various parking (paid) nearby. The service and check in was a breeze and the lady was very helpful at check in. Lovely clean room and nice bathroom, would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Matera!

Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne, fruits and chocolates or cookies. Such an amazing Cave hotel. the people are friendly. The room was spacious, with high ceilings. the furniture and amenities all on point. the bed and sleep-sofa both were comfortable, while still also looking like a cave <3 The room also comes with 2 giant moisture guards that keep the room nice. they make noise but can be switched off when going to sleep. Be sure to expect some humidity as it is a cave, this is not a negative point to me as it is logical but it appears not everyone was prepared for it haha You order breakfast the day before. It is then delivered to the room in the morning at the time you choose. The selection was good and the food lovely. on a final note, the entire city and also the hotel is surrounded by slopes and stairs. Wear some good shoes and take your time to get your luggage to and from the place you are staying. There is a manned parking garage near the hotel on the Via Vena (Parcheggio Communbale Via Vena) (few min walk) which costs 20 euro's a day. good price!

It is located 700 metres from MUSMA Museum and provides full-day security. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Beautiful, new facility. Very close to the old town. Coffee making with pod machine. Extremely helpful welcoming staff (Sabina) helped with orientation of the old town and where to catch our bus to leave town at the end of our stay.

We chose it not for the jacuzzi but for the view: the entrance of the room is in one of the village alley, but then you open the balcony door and you are at the edge of the world. Due to this position, I can imagine that this room is very quiet even in the main tourist season. We visited Matera in November, there where a few people but it was very enjoyable. Excellent breakfast and kind, welcoming staff. Recommended.
