Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

Free ambient night sounds (from the nature surrounding the property) to help you sleep. The owner has created a lovely place for stranger to coexist and even become friends.

Yakushima Park Guesthouse se nachází v destinaci Jakušima a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Shiratani Unsuikyo je 10 km daleko. The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up the next day. Unbelievable. The location is walkable from the port and has house had everything you’d need. The kitchen and the shower was equipped with everything that you’d need during your stay. The house was small but very clean. Would highly recommend.

I had a warm welcome and amazing stay. I had mechanical problem on my bike and he lent me his own bicycle to visit Kakeromajima (beautiful !). My room was clear, fresh and super well equiped for a very good price. Arigato 🙏

We spent great moments here. Inside the house, it is pretty warm. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.

Pension BLUE DROP se nachází v destinaci Jakušima a nabízí ubytování s klimatizací. Yakusugi Land je 29 km daleko, Shiratani Unsuikyo 47 km a Yumiyahachiman Shrine 10 km. The hosts were amazing helping arranging car rental, even though we were late with booking. Delicious homemade meals made with local produce giving a real taste of Yakushima. The location was really great with things to explore and experience in both directions from the pension. The house was beautiful, and there was really nice glass art and drawings made by Yuki (host) through out the pension. The hosts were eager to share tips about things to do, depending on the weather. We have nothing negative to say about this gem in Yakushima. 10/10!
