Honestly, we liked everything about this one! Room is simple but comfortable. Be prepared to sleep on futons. Bathroom and shower was shared, but clean. There is a big communal area with chairs, tables, couches.. The kitchen is great and very well equipped. But the main star of the show is the owner! He speaks zero english but that does not stop him :D We have communicated via google translate - and we communicated a lot :D He was very friendly and actually attentive to our requests - we mistakenly booked a wrong room and he agreed to change it free of charge, also he told us many good palces to visit around the island. Do not hesitate to ask him anything.

An amazing place—with even more amazing people. I’ve been traveling for eight years and stayed in countless guesthouses, but This is OKINAWA is one of the truly special ones. I was here for one month and from the moment I arrived, Taiga and Akane made me feel at home. They are welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. Taiga’s English is limited, but he’s eager to improve and does his best to make every guest feel comfortable. The guesthouse itself is simple yet cozy. The private and dorm rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are spacious, even featuring a small Japanese bathtub. There’s also a separate room with a fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dryer, with plans to add a small kitchen soon. The outdoor sitting area, which I called the living room, is the heart of the place. Some days we worked on DIY projects, other days we had BBQs, chatted with guests, or just relaxed. It can be lively and peaceful in the same day, but it never gets boring. I spent countless hours talking with other guests, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Located in the quiet hills of Mount Yaedake, it’s the perfect place to disconnect and recharge. There’s space for yoga, bonfires, or just relaxing in a hammock under the trees. While the guesthouse is remote, you can bike or walk to local spots, and Nago City is only a 10-minute drive away. If you have a rental car, exploring the island is easy. This isn’t just a guesthouse—it’s a home. Whether you stay for a few days or weeks, you’ll love your time here. I’m grateful to have found this place, and I hope you will be too!

ゲストハウス喜舎場 se nachází v destinaci Ostrov Išigaki. Vyhlídka Tamatorizaki se nachází 25 km daleko a Euglena Mall 600 metrů. It’s a lovely little place in a great location. Everything is in walking distance. The place is really small and can house max 4 males and 4 females. It creates a more cozy atmosphere. Each bunk has a tiny space to store your luggage with doors and curtains around each bunk. You don’t have to climb up and down to get access to your luggage. The owner is very nice and helpful and speaks good English even though the name of the place might not suggest it. 100% recommend and will stay again.

I had the luck to be there to celebrate my birthday during one of the evening get-together parties in the living room. The accommodation is very comfortable, with the proper heating/AC needed for the changing weather at the island, the futons were comfy, and the blankets really cozy. The bathroom and shower were super clean and functional, with a clean towel for every night at the stay and elegantly decorated. The common area, living room with kitchen, is fully equipped, with comfortable decoration, and the most beautiful view to the sea. The location is great as well, as there is a beach close by and a delicious café near the hotel. I can only recommend this place wholeheartedly. The hosts are really friendly, easy going and will help in case of any questions.

Happy Island Miyako se nachází v destinaci Mijakodžima a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Painagama Beach je 1,8 km daleko. My stay at Max's (and Happy's 🐈) place has been awesome. He showed me some hidden places of the island with his mini van and I hanged out also with his friends. In this place you can meet other travelers too!

Super clean and for sure of one of the best kitchen I have ever seen in the hostels during my travels in Japan.

Umi no Yado Umikaze se nachází v destinaci Henza a poskytuje zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. The view at lovely and staff fantastic. There was a little collection of hand made earrings and trinkets that we were invited to take one of as a memento. Lovely touch!
