My friend & I stayed here for two nights as, after a month traveling, we wanted some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. That is what we got too. We stayed in our own 2 person hut with a little balcony that had comfortable seats and a hammock, ideal for relaxing; almost read my entire book! We went kayaking one day, following the Green Cathedral trail. The kayaks were provided free of charge by the accommodation. They brought us fresh fruit and cold water every time we appeared in the common area which was equally as colorful. Their hospitality was wholesome, welcoming and extremely helpful, especially when we needed to organize transport to our next destination. I cannot fault this place. I would strongly recommend a stay.

From the moment we stepped into Cambodhi, we felt at peace. Our room was an instant comfort—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with subtle details that made it feel more than just a place to sleep. But let’s talk about the light. I still don’t know how to describe it properly—there was no bulb, and yet, it was one of the most powerful and unique lights I’ve ever seen. Are they living in the future? The rooftop terrace is another highlight. Open and spacious, it offers 360-degree views of Kampot, perfect for both sunrise and sunset, with the mountains on one side and the town on the other. Even if you’re out exploring during the day, make time to come up here—it’s worth it. We were lucky enough to meet Tola, one of the owners, in person, while Patrick was always just a message away on WhatsApp. Their hospitality was next-level—not just friendly, but genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience in Kampot. Need a scooter? They’ll sort it. Have a question? They’ll answer before you’ve finished typing. It felt less like staying at a hotel and more like staying with friends who happen to be excellent hosts. A small but brilliant touch was the Welcome Book in our room. Now, I’m a logical guy—former project manager—so I really appreciated how well-thought-out and practical it was. It wasn’t just another generic guidebook; it told the story of the owners, explained how everything in the room worked, and laid out the best of Kampot in a way that made planning effortless. There are subtle sustainability hints woven throughout the book and the hotel itself—little reminders that made me rethink my own habits. The stunning building and decor create a beautiful ambiance, complemented by the crisp, fresh linen and a comfortable, big bed that promises a great night's sleep. Waking up is a joy, especially with the awesome hot shower and the promise of a great breakfast – seriously, try the omelette! Plus, the reliable aircon and WiFi are much appreciated. Convenience is key here. The Seagull boasts a handy tour desk and is just a five-minute walk from the vibrant riverfront promenade, where you'll find the lively night and seafood markets, diverse quality restaurants, the serene Lotus Pond, the dazzling Seahorse fountain and light show, and unique floating restaurants. Beyond the hotel, I discovered the incredibly friendly community of Krong Kampot 💙. For anyone visiting Kampot, I wouldn't stay anywhere else. ✨👍😊

Velmi příjemný majitel zorganizoval vše, co jsme potřebovali za velmi rozumné ceny (tuk tuk, auto, jízdenky na ferry na ostrov). Výborné a bohaté snídaně-výběr z 5 možnosti, doporučujeme skvělé spring rolls. Denní úklid s výměnou ručníků a doplněním vody. Proti hotelu obchod s levným plechovkovým pivem za 2500 rielu.

Pobyt v ubytování The Hidden Oasis Bungalows byl naprosto výjimečný s rodinným přístupem. Vstřícní majitelé se vším poradí, doporučí cestu, popř. vše zařídí. Motorku jsme si půjčili přímo na místě. Využili jsem i prací servis, paní majitelka nám přinesla čisté, voňavé prádlo složené v košíku přímo až na terasu. Majitelé nám dokonce zařídili lístek na loď, přímo z Kampotu na ostrov Koh Rong (o tomto lodním spojení jsme vůbec nevěděli) Domácí snídaně v zahradě byly naprosto skvělé.

Mr. Leng and Mama are very kind and helpful in arranging tours for us and providing feedback on Kampot. Wished we had stayed longer than two nights as the region is beautiful and lots to explore as well in nearby Kep.

Splněna všechna naše přání. Při vyjížďce do hor jsme si nebyli jisti, zda půjčená motorka s námi dojede. Pan majitel nám hned ochotně poskytl jinou. Cena jen 5$!!!!

We don't plan to go to Kampot, but it happened when we felt bored at home after workdays. We decided to stay at Kampot Origin Guesthouse because it's not far from the center, has an affordable price, and is very clean, especially their beddings. The staff who attended to us were very accommodating. Hopefully, next week we will still be staying at this guesthouse.
