For us, it was diving on day trips , 1 hr away from the B&B ! Villa location ‘Anse la raye’ is a fisherman village, there is not much to do except meet the locals ;) As it is centric, it will require a bit of driving to explore the island but it is great as you can choose to go either north (busy hotels area and white sandy beaches) or south (pitons, trek, diving, snorkeling, volcanic beaches). Summary : Our stay went beyond our expectations, we strongly recommend Belle La Maye for your vacation ! TIPS : - Try the smoked RIBS at the villa ;) - snorkel / day trip at anse cochon (Ti Kaye resort day pass $10/p) - explore soufrière and the pitons right after an early breakfast at the villa - dive at anse chastanet - spend some time at the pool with a Piton beer in your hand ;) -dinner at Bennys nearby (call before showing up) or ChIco ritos food truck Thank you St Lucia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming accommodation! The room was surprisingly spacious, with high ceilings and a comfortable layout. While the view might not be panoramic, the surrounding trees and lush canopy created a peaceful atmosphere, making us feel like we were nestled in a tropical haven. A major plus was the easy access – just a short 50m stroll from the main road, with convenient parking. No harrowing mountain roads to navigate! What truly made our stay special, however, was the warm and communicative host. The room's design and atmosphere felt more like staying in a friend's home, rather than a impersonal hotel. It was a welcome respite from the typical hotel experience. We highly recommend this cozy retreat to anyone seeking a relaxing, home-away-from-home experience in St. Lucia!

The apartment is very close to several beaches. It was in very good condition. The landlord family is great, they are super friendly. I felt at home among my own family. They.provided us all our askings. They helped a lot with smile and by heart. Anyone can visit St. Lucia even for this fantastic family.

Easy access to catch bus into Castries. I didn’t even have to wait long, less than 2 minutes and we got a bus.

Well equipped. Nice to have a washing machine. Nice location. Pleasant little town, close to Soufriere and not too far to drive from the airport at Castries.

Room was good enough size to accommodate 2 people with enough storage space. Bathroom is spacious. AC worked well, so did the wi-fi. Hosts are nice and very helpful. Garden is very nice and good place to relax. Surrounding area is mixed, part is houses, some not the most aesthetic, but the rest is nature. Views on the surrounding hills are very nice. Mini-buses pass close to the house, so if you do not want to walk from Soufriere you can always take those (in reasonable time of day) and they are affordable.
