The place is pretty, well maintained, and clean. Nice vibe to chill. All the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I appreciate the guide for a quick intro to the town, restaurants, and surf spots. I also appreciate the board with upcoming events around. Makai is at a ~6 min walk from the main street and in front of a bus stop in this main street, convenient to go to downtown or surf spots. Even more convenient if you have a motorbike. Some of the restaurants nearby are good so you can just walk to get good food. Would recommend!

We would ideally gatekeep this property because we want to come back again in some years with the hope of getting same amazing experience again! But this property deserves it flowers, amazing vibes, very thoughtfully built with the most intricate details in mind. Very friendly and attentive host family! The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The pool is very clean as well. We stayed for ten nights and really felt at home.
