The garden is beautiful and Harsha was a gracious host. We had a delicious and very filling dinner for 1970 Rs. Harsha showed us the local native plants in the garden that they use for cooking. The location is close to Sigiriya Rock and even has a view of the rock from the dining area.

We traveled with our little daughter, who really enjoyed it. The accommodation is small but perfectly sufficient. It is located in beautiful nature, where you wake up to the sound of peacocks and other birds. The surroundings are stunning, and the breakfast area is lovely. We recommend trying their traditional sweet Sri Lankan breakfast. It is definitely ideal for a family with children. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the city. The owner is great and helpful; he offered tuk-tuk rides to and from the city and also assisted with getting on the bus to Kandy. Thank you!

But what truly makes this place unforgettable are the hosts. They are the heart and soul of the guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and kindness that instantly put us at ease. They went above and beyond to help us with everything, from travel tips to little surprises that made us feel so special. They truly love what they do — and it shows in every interaction. And oh, the breakfasts! Each morning started with the most delicious homemade dishes, full of flavor and made with love. Sitting on the cozy veranda, sipping a tea, and enjoying the serene atmosphere was the perfect way to begin the day. The guesthouse also has great WiFi, making it easy to work or stay connected if needed. But honestly, you’ll probably want to spend most of your time soaking in the beauty and calmness of this place. The hosts were amazing! Incredibly friendly, warm and helpful. In addition the place was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and we also ended up eating dinner there twice which were the best meals we had in dambullah.
