I recently had the pleasure of spending a night at a desert camp in the Merzouga Desert, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the excitement of being in the heart of the desert. The camp is set up beautifully, with traditional Berber tents that are surprisingly comfortable, complete with cozy beds and all the essentials. The real highlight of the experience was the breathtaking sunset over the dunes, followed by a starlit sky that was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The dinner served was a delicious mix of traditional Moroccan dishes, and the staff was incredibly friendly, sharing stories and music around the campfire. The camel trek to the camp was an adventure in itself – a great way to experience the vastness of the desert. It was so beautiful and fun. The accommodations were clean and nice, and the staff was SO HELPFUL! ! ! ! youssf who worked there helped my friend who was sick and he went out of his way to do what he could to help. 10/10, don't skip! !

This is a great place to stay in Agoudal, El-habib is truly an excellent host. He cooked us a really delicious meal, one of the best we've had in our time in Morocco. He also made us feel welcome and gave us an insight into life in Agoudal. Overall we had a great experience here and we'd totally recommend it.

Just walk 10 minutes across the road and you will enter the desert. The owner offered a very reasonable price for us to ride camels into the desert to watch the sunset and enjoy the golden desert. It was beautiful. We also took the Merzouga 4X4 tour to enjoy the black desert, Berber villages, and African music.

The place is an Oasis of calmness in the Oasis of Ziz. Enjoying the sunset and sunrise on the rooftop balcony is a unique experience! We spent only one night there but wished to stay longer! If you stay there I can recommend to have dinner at this place. The dinner was very good with specialities we haven't found in other maroccan places.
