Steve and his family's warm hospitality and presence was the good thing there, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed at this place. This place may be good for bag packers but surely not close to perfect holiday stay for a family.

Before booking my 3-day stay in Talamba Blue, I read all the reviews and I must admit that I have got mixed feelings ... but I am very happy that I booked this place. My wife and I booked a "studio room" and stayed 3 nights. Of course the hotel would appreciate some maintenance and/or better furniture, inside decorations etc, but one needs to look at this from the point "you get what you pay for" ... and from that point, Talamba is great place to stay. The Studio was spacious. I would say it was almost a small one bedroom apartment. The kitchenette was a good size and had all we needed. If you need anything else, just ask hotel personnel. All equipment in the room worked as it was supposed to. Wifi covers the entire hotel and it is good speed and stable. Breakfast was fantastic... yummy and robust... and served by ladies with big smiles. The pool is small but beautiful. It is great to dip there when there is a scorching sun at the beach. The garden surrounding the pool is very well kept. Of course, the hotel is just a few steps from the absolutely amazing Blue Bay Beach. We ate in a nearby local restaurant and the food was great. The hotel is listed as "no parking available" but there are 4 parking spots. Just be prepared to talk to other drivers about their schedules, so we would not block each other. I would like to express my thanks to the hotel administrator, ladies preparing delicious breakfast and other hotel staff. I definitely recommend this hotel and I am looking forward to spending more nights there in the near future.

Very nice guest house on the best spot for shnorkeling in Maurititus. Very kind stuff, good breakfast with everything you need, beautiful beach. They propose us to use a transfer room for our late check out free of charge which was very comfortable.

This one was the most atmospheric place where we stayed during our two-week holiday in Mauritius. For a very convenient price we spent three nights in a comfortable bungalow located within a garden full of palmtrees and coconuts, an exotic paradise only 10 minutes away from the airport (by car). It is a great accommodation option for the last days of one’s trip to the Mauritius as you’re right next to the airport, you’ll get to your flight in no time. Waking up and going to sleep surrounded by lush vegetation is bliss, at night you’ll be able to see flying foxes going from one tree to another, and you might find a buddy in the cute gold dust day gecko that might find a way to come inside your bungalow and quietly stay on one of its walls. Just like in other places, like Bali, they’re totally harmless and there is zero chance they would get on your bed. Be kind to them and allow them to share the room with you, they just want to eat mosquitos, flies and other insects.

Chillpill Bed & Breakfast se nachází ve městě Mahébourg a nabízí nekonečný bazén se sluneční terasou ve velké zahradě. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi a hosté mohou využívat gril. Poslední 2 noci na Mauriciu a poslední den jsme si chtěli užít výletem katamaránem. Ten nám byl nabídnut při rezervaci, ale bohužel nerezervován. Chyba ubytování. Během příjezdu byl problém vyřešen a sehnali nám rychlý člun, ač bylo vše plné. Nakonec pro nás asi lepší. Super výlet, skvělá organizace. Ubytování jako takové nemá chybu. Oceán hned pod bazénem, dá se jít koupat, ale mělko. Kousek skvělá restaurace, dává jídlo i do krabiček, když se nevejdete, jako my. Bylo nás 14 :-) Majitel velmi vstřícný a přátelský. Jestli tohle čte, tak určitě dejte vědět, až poletíte do Čech, dáme pivko :-)

Chez Henri se nachází v destinaci Pointe d'Esny a nabízí terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Pláž Pointe d'Esny Beach je 200 metrů daleko a Bus Station Mahébourg (Zastávka autobusů) 4 km. I stayed only one night because of a long layover at the airport. This was the reason for choosing the location. Close enough to the airport, at the same time you can enjoy the wonderful smell and sound of the sea. The hosts are very friendly and sociable people. The breakfast is very modest, but acceptable for this money. There is a path nearby with access to the sea. A taxi from the airport cost 900 MUR and back 700 MUR. The atmosphere is very homely. The owner agreed to a later check-out for an additional fee.

Kaz'alala Hosted B&B nabízí restauraci, venkovní bazén, zahradu a sdílený lounge. Pláž Bel Ombre se nachází 1,2 km odtud. Pokoj v domečku byl čistý a voňavý, zasazený do nádherné zahrady. Skvělý bonus je možnost využít pláže, včetně příslušenství přilehlých hotelů. Krásné, klidné relaxační místo. Moc rádi se vrátíme.
