This place was a true haven in the most amazing location - close to the tourist hub, but in a calm and quiet place where you can't hear any of the noise. We could sit out in our balcony/bathroom area and watch sunbirds flying about in the flowers and peer down into the laneways behind. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing vintage movie posters. Our host Winnie was kind, generous and responsive to messages. We loved entering the building through the plants, walking through the gorgeous cafe and up the stairs to our room. A perfect little romantic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here and hope to come back.

The room is very clean and homely decorated. The owner is kind and helpful. She allowed me to check in before the regular check in hour. There are grocery store, restaurants, fruit stand, and laundry facility (using coin) within 10 minutes walking. There is a small communal kitchen on the first floor equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, water filter, and some utensils. That is very convenient.

We stayed at this homestay for 3 nights and it is run by Maria and her husband. Maria is super kind , nice and friendly and helped us in every way she could. She gave us many good advice like where to exchange money with best rate. The room is spotlessly clean, even for the public area, kitchen, washroom, etc, are all tidy. The main advantage of the homestay is it’s close to the red square(3 min walk). You even can come back to take a nap and have a shower in hot afternoon.

It has a very good location (away from Tourist noise) and you are in the centre 10min Walking! Maria, the host, is so lovely and makes sure you have everything you need!! She makes her own banana bread and even gave me some to take to the Airport. Communication also works with the owner via WhatsApp and he helps with any questions. The Guesthouse is very Clean (i had my own bathroom but the shared facilities are also great). Highly recommend and would come again! Thanks Maria and owner :)!!

Get a cheap price with more than price service. Staff very friendly.
