We had a wonderful stay at Seladah Homestay. The property consists of two combined houses, making it quite spacious with a total of eight rooms (two rooms downstairs and the rest upstairs). It features an RFID door lock system and an automatic gate with a remote, so there’s no need to use a traditional key. We arrived late at night, but self-check-in was convenient, allowing us to settle in without waiting for the owner. The homestay also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, estimated at around 500 Mbps. Since all guests live under the same roof, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your housemates. Our rooms, located upstairs, were designed for two people and came with private bathrooms, which was very convenient. The living room has TVs available for use, and a washing machine is beneath the staircase. The parking area accommodates about three cars inside the compound and two additional cars outside. The owner was also very responsive to my inquiries. Thank you very much for a great experience! I will definitely return for my next stay. :)

The area around the homestay was very clean and peaceful, with a calm village atmosphere that made our stay truly relaxing. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The house was comfortable, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities we needed. Wi-Fi connection was stable, and there was ample parking space. It’s also conveniently located near local shops and attractions. Highly recommended for a quiet and pleasant getaway.

Very friendly, helpful, with a great heart. He provided me with all the information about where to go, what to do, and he also offered some tours in beautiful places like the Bengo Dam and the caves. The location is good, very close to the waterfront, which can be reached on foot and then by jetty (only 1 RM! Last ride: 6 pm - afterwards you either take a grab or walk about 30 min until the Darul Hana bridge). It's very safe and the people are incredibly friendly. I was stopped on the street by little children who greeted me and asked for my name! The rooms are comfortable, and the cats are lovely!

Super close to delicious restaurants and bars on Jalan Abell as well as the free bus to Semonggeh. 15-20 minute walk to the Kuching waterfront. Safe neighborhood. After weeks or travelling, we also loved the oatmeal and peanut butter and fresh fruit at breakfast. Most of all, amazing owners who immediately make you feel at home and help to foster a friendly community atmosphere. Worth every penny for the people you meet and friends you make as long as you’re willing to put yourself out there. We loved Marco Polo and can’t wait to come back!
