Enkhuisen was by far, our favourite place in the Netherlands. Beautiful, peaceful, uncrowded and authentic. Everything is within walking distance. We took the steamtram and boat for a leisurely, fun and historic journey to the town - (Keep your luggage to a minimum if bringing eg store big bags at Amsterdam Centraal, Sloterdijk storage is unreliable) Families with young kids thoroughly enjoyed the fun activities along the way as did we (an older couple). In addition to wonderful walks, Enkhuisen the town has the best museum (Zuiderzee) - a living, breathing historic collection of homes and businesses dating back around a hundred years ago showing what life was like back then for the fishing community before the dike wall changed their way of life completely. A fascinating, absorbing trip through time. So much to see and do. Now, the accommodation: Absolutely wonderful, our hosts Ellen and Dirk, could not have been more helpful and kind. They did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And the accommodation itself was an utter delight - spacious, comfortable bed, great shower, gorgeous view out over the canal and awesome breakfast choices. We would encourage everyone to come here to experience the best of the Netherlands. We would love to come again.

B&B Stations Koffiehuis se nachází v destinaci Molkwerum a nabízí zahradu s terasou. Holland Casino Leeuwarden se nachází 48 km odtud a Stavoren Station 5,5 km. We liked everything. Lies and Nico, the owners are very kind people, they made our stay comfortable and nice. The view is super nice, the accommodation is super! Definitely we recommend and we will stay at their place again. You can feel the real friesian people and hospitality!

Bed en breakfast Onder aan de dijk se nachází v destinaci Warder. A'DAM Lookout se nachází 27 km daleko, Rembrandtův dům 28 km a Artis Zoo 28 km. The house is lovely, having everything you need. The breakfast is delicious, homemade with local products!!!! The host is super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed very much our stay.

It was clear that Ilse and Jan had thought of every little touch to ensure a truly memorable experience. Their warm and genuine hospitality was what truly made the stay exceptional. Isle and Jan greeted us with smiles that made us feel instantly at home. They took the time to get to know us, offering valuable insights into the local area and suggesting hidden gems to explore. The tranquil ambiance of De Kamer combined with the heartfelt hospitality of Ilse and Jan, created an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. I cannot thank them enough for making our stay so special. If you are looking for a charming retreat with hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, look no further than De Kamar. La Fattoria Bed&breakfast poskytuje zahradu, terasu a nepřetržitě otevřenou recepci. A'DAM Lookout je 49 km odtud. V ubytování je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi a na místě je k dispozici soukromé... Host Marielle was lovely and welcoming. The very clean room was roomy with a king size comfortable bed and a big bathroom with walk in shower. Very quiet location. Breakfast was great with different choices of breads, yoghurt, muesli, eggs, toppings and fruit. The mall bar fridge in the hall outside the room was a bonus to keep some of our own stuff cold. Definitely recommend.

A wonderful and cosy apartment, extremely clean and nice. With a very charming terrace to have breakfast or dinner. Breakfast is wonderful and the hosts are very welcoming, with precise instructions to reach the place. Totally recommendable.

Atelier B&B 'Sinnestriel' se nachází v destinaci Hindeloopen a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a výhled na město. Pláž Strand van Hindeloopen se nachází jen 400 metrů daleko a Holland Casino Leeuwarden 43 km. We loved our stay in the B&B, the decoration is nice, authentic, fits well with the village feel, the bed was comfortable, the hosts were very nice and the breakfast was really good. With various options to chose for. The village itself is so cute it looks out of a fairy tale. I would recommend to anyone :)

Uit Alle Windstreken se nachází v destinaci Hindeloopen a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. This was a cute B&B with lots of character. It was located in the center of Hindeloopen and we were able to walk everywhere in town. Leon was a great host. He is very friendly and we enjoyed getting to know him. He knows everyone in town. He helped us rent bikes and also connected us with community members who assisted us in hunting down our family’s roots in Hindeloopen. Leon went above and beyond, even doing our laundry! We would love to come back with our family members.
