The accommodation is non-smoking. Dirk and Ellen went out of their way to help us get warm after a chilled 60 km bicycle ride. We never met Ellen, but Dirk was pleasant and communicative. His apartment was good-sized and had everything we needed to have a pleasant evening. We were given more than enough food for breakfast, and still enough to make sandwiches for lunch. The apartment was quiet, comfortable, and within a five-minute walk to town and the grocery store. We had a nice stay in the pretty town of Enkhuizen and look forward to coming back.

Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. An absolute gem and the perfect base for my partner and I for the sporting event she was taking part in. A lovely welcome from Iles and an introduction to the spacious room including a complete kitchen area. So many lovely touches including a variety of sweets, great artwork, a mini bar (paid), fully stocked larder for breakfast and so on. Also many smaller things such a spare pair of reading glasses, a local paper and slippers. Good sized shower and separate toilet to compliment the room. The town of Wervershoof has many places to eat and all seemed to be great quality. The area is very pretty and quintessentially Dutch.

Top notch with everything so well done. Roomy and spacious, with high ceilings and light flooded rooms gave the little apartment a super high end feel. Lovingly well thought out details throughout the flat -no shortcuts. We loved the adjustable bed, walk in closet, furnishings and Leony’s touches throughout. The breakfast absolutely amazing…fresh squeezed orange Joyce, local breads and cheeses, … Ontbijt bin De Boerenmeid is one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Beautiful quiet location with lots of natural light , and great view of marina . Very comfortable bed great coffee machine and wonderful helpful attentive host best stay ever just like being at home would definitely stay again highly recommend . Hoorn centre 5 minute walk with great cafes and shops and beautiful area to walk around.

The host was lovely and spoke very good English. Her husband was very poorly but she still made me breakfast at 7am. So kind. It’s a beautiful place.
