I fell in love with the property immediately with the antiques and warm farmhouse feel. It had all the amenities and was up-to-date in every way including reliable wi-fi. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great sleep. The breakfast was amazing with all of the wonderfully fresh, hand-prepared selections and the lovely note card to start the day positively! The outdoor lounge area had beautiful views and inviting lights as night set in. Margarete was the kindest person and full of interesting information as well as an amazing host, baker and chef. I wish I could have stayed much longer!

We were super warmly welcomed by the family that keeps that beautiful place. I think it's one of the experiences that luxury hotels can't provide to you. The house is in retro/vintage style inside, you're feeling like back in time to 60s. At the morning we had a tasty breakfast with homemade warm bread, some fruits, yogurts, cheese and sausages - there was plenty of choice. The hosts tried to be sure that we felt comfortable and welcomed in their place. I absolutely recommend this such a unique experience to everyone who visit Roros!

What a lovely stay! The hosts are warm and welcoming and went above and beyond. Yhe breakfast is a banquet spread! I had several great conversations with them, allowing me to learn more about Norway and Norwegians. Their recommendations for dining out were spot on. The bedroom is small, exactly as described. The location is perfect. I’d like to go back!

It’s the perfect place if you want to encounter the wildlife of Norway. I saw a moose from my window almost immediately after I arrived! The shower can go really hot and more powerful than almost any shower I’ve experienced in my life : ) I appreciated having facilities like a washing machine and dishwasher, and the lady who runs the place was very helpful.

The boathouse is beautiful and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a great vacation. The view is awesome and going for a bath is so refreshing. Everything was perfect and everyone was extremely nice to us. We would enjoy to come back and stay longer!

Housed in a 1914 building, this central inn lies only 6 minutes’ walk from Røros Station. It offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and private parking. An amazing hotel. It was -36 Celsius and we felt warm and cozy! The staff were so nice and had our kids throwing hot water outside to freeze in the air! Make sure you eat in their restaurant as it is exceptional. It is right in the middle of town too. Would highly recommend, especially for a family of 6. We had our own little area of rooms so we didn't have to worry about being noisy!
