Leah met us when we arrived, showed us around and gave dinner suggestions. The accommodations were spotless and well maintained. Breakfast was already in the room and Leah thought of everything. She met us the next morning and showed us her prized Sheep and gave us some tips on what to see as we travelled South.

This is absolutely one of the best lodgings we stayed at in New Zealand! The host, Julie, is absolutely warm, helpful and friendly. She stated that the lodge is 'her baby' and it shows. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever had and the room was furnished with such care and class.

Jolanda and her husband were super friendly and helpful. We arrived late around 21:30 but they still took the time to show us around their cozy B&B. The place is right on the highway which makes it the perfect spot if you are driving up from Wellington (or the other way of course). The room has a cool and fun design, it was spacious and we loved it. The breakfast was brought up to the room at the time we agreed upon the night before. There is even a cute little balcony and a cat to snuggle with if you feel like it!

The bed was very comfortable and included a heated blanket if desired. Breakfast offering was lovely, especially the granola.

A charming self contained unit with all the amenities for a very comfortable stay in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The owners Jenny and Doug are lovely, welcoming hosts and we had great communication with them before and during our stay. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and delicious. We also loved meeting their 2 very cute pups!

We enjoyed kind of a down day on our 2 month trip thru New Zealand and Junes place was perfect! Loved our little day walks and her location is perfect.

Second time we have stayed here, expectations well met both times. Rural, secluded facility with all you need for a break. Clean and tidy with comfortable bed and brilliant heating (hot water radiators). Eclectic collection of NZ books to read are an added bonus. WiFi was excellent. Contactless (our request, because of medical issues on our part) worked well for us, the hosts are on site but unobtrusive.
