The accommodation is separate from the house, clean, spacious and comfortable. Very quiet environment, with a beautiful view on the pretty garden from the room, and a nice park for a walk, just across the road. I could only stay for one night, but I enjoyed this stay.

The suite was beautifully appointed with good quality linen, a very comfortable bed and thoughtful touches. The cafe latte sachets were a welcome change from instant coffee and the host had turned on a heater for us to warm the room for our late arrival. The bathroom was light and bright, and everything was spotlessly clean. The location was excellent and we walked into town for supper.

Host Paula was so helpful. Loved how remote the cottage seemed even though it was a small trip to local villages/towns. We would have loved to stay for more nights if our itinerary allowed. The best spot we've stayed at on the north island. Also, incredible sunset views from the porch. Would absolutely recommend.

I had an amazing stay at this accommodation during my solo road trip in Taupo. Unfortunately, I ran into some unexpected car troubles, but Nana, the incredible host, stepped in and helped me so much! Her kindness, patience, and willingness to assist went far beyond what I could have hoped for. The place itself was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Every little detail made the stay feel special. And the breakfast? Absolutely delicious—such a great way to start the day! I feel so fortunate to have chosen this place and met Nana. If you’re in Taupo and looking for a clean, welcoming, and truly exceptional place to stay, this is it. Highly recommend!

FOREST WATERS está en Haruru y dispone de vistas al jardín, jardín, salón de uso común, terraza, pista de tenis y zona de barbacoa. Overall, the accomodation was fabulous! The grounds were really peaceful and it was only a 10 minute drive to town. So much nicer than staying in town with a lot of noise and people around. The hosts were kind, warm and generous but also gave us our own space and privacy. I'd never stayed in a B&B style accomodation before so this was a new experience and I'd do it again. If I have the opportunity to come back to the Northlands of NZ I'd definitely stay again.
