The Madina is great to walk around early for pics and seeing daily life start to the point with lighthouse. Great courtyard with a restaurant, less than 5 minute walk.

What I liked most about staying at Maison Albatros was the calm and comfortable atmosphere of the house, and the feeling of living with an authentic Tunisian family. In addition, the owners offered to accompany me to the bus station ( louage station) on two mornings by car, and I really appreciated their kindness, because it was about 35 minutes away walking. In addition, the entire family speaks excellent Italian, which can be very useful for Italian travelers like me. The room I stayed in also had a splendid terrace with a view of the sea in the distance, truly beautiful!

The ensuite shower room worked well. The breakfast was good. The hotel is located but just off the beach and my room had a direct view of the beach. However the room was quite. The room wifi worked well and provided an excellent connection. The staff went out of their way to welcome me and, it being Ramadan, provided me with a (free) dinner to enable me to partake of their breaking of the fast - which was a most generous gesture.
