Nested in a lush tropical garden, Mango Home Riverside Eco - Resort is an eco-friendly resort in Mekong Delta. Mango Home was a lovely hotel to stay at, and the area is truly worth a visit. You can borrow bikes from the hotel and ride along beautiful roads that wind through the coconut farms nearby. If you do stay at the hotel, you should also try the local tour they offer. It was the most authentic Vietnamese experience we had on our trip, giving us a genuine glimpse into local life. The people of Ben Tre were very welcoming, and I can't count how many times people smiled and said hello when we walked by. I would definitely recommend a stay at Mango Home if you are visiting Ben Tre.

The man speaks english and does most of the communication through whatsapp, which is very helpful. He responded very quickly to our requests and questions. We also booked a boat tour this way. The accommodation is very nice and clean and if you would like to eat at the homestay in the evening (besides breakfast), the wife will cook for you. The food is also good!! One thing to mention is that the homestay is not located at the location on booking.com, but they will pick you up at the busstation if you ask and drop you at the accommodation. To get around the city (which is about 20 minutes away) you can borrow the motorbikes that they have. If you’re not confident driving yourself, they’ll take you on the back. That’s what we did. The main road to the city is not really walkable so the bikes are a necessity. Overall we would really recommend this homestay if you like to have some chill and quiet time in a more remote area.

Mocay farmstay is a beautiful property on the south of Ben Tre. Húng and Nhiên, who both are genuinely kind, spent a long time showing us around and introducing us in to the local life. We had the chance to pay a visit to their neighbors and their farms (coconuts, grapefruit), taste amazing cuisine , collect seeds of local flora and get into the local pace of life. It's a dense and culturaly fulfilling experience. I highly recommend visiting Mocay if you are traveling around southern Vietnam.

Velmi milý a ochotný personál, ubytování na krásném a klidném místě, měli jsme vše, co jsme potřebovali 👍

Excellent menu and food! I loved the quiet location deep in Palm forest. It only a few blocks from town. The decor of the whole place was so inviting to relax, cost chairs to read my book. The tour was special too. Not like package tour but visiting local people at cacao farm, a typical house where they made me a toasted rice paper, canoe in narrow canal to see fish traps. Real village life. Thing is a super host.

Calming, and a lovely outlook, Helpful Guy running it, couldn't do enough for you. A really nice stay. Some have said it's a little way out , but I enjoyed the 20 min walk. (You see all the locals selling goods.) Also Cycles are avaliable.

Be sure to spend at least 2 nights and arrange with ,the zigzagers‘ an authentic tour in the Ben Tre region with Sailboat, Scooter and visit local trades in an untouristy way. Gorgeous dinner & bbq at the river… for sure our highlight during the whole Vietnam holidays.

This simple homestay was perfect for us. They have everything needed to sleep, they offer breakfast options, bike rental, and they even helped us booked the bus back to Saigon at a very cheap price! The location is outside of the city center, but renting a bike makes it perfect to explore Ben Tre. They also offer tours though we did not try any.
