It was amazing staying here - the room, the pool, the garden, the hosts and the surroundings were great. Really peaceful and beautiful. the breakfast was also great, with homemade jams and fresh fruit salad. We really felt at home and will definitely be back. The owner even gave us a tour to some interesting rock art on his property.

We loved everything about Aan Dorpseind. It really is situated at the end of the town. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown to our room which had a small kitchenette, a sitting area and a sleeping area together with a great shower room. There is also a veranda outside with a built in braai (BBQ) . The property has a lovely pool which we didn't use as it was still too cold. The owners are knowledgeable about the area and ready to offer advice on sightseeing. We fell in love with Maskam, the golden retriever who paid us a daily visit. This is a great base from which to explore Namaqualand

The pool is very nice and access is possible directly from the room. The view from the pool and terrace directly on the lake. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Excellent communication with the owner who collected very useful information for us regarding our trip to Cederberg.
