It is well kept. The owners met with us both to share the history of the houseboats and the local area. We had a wonderful cook and captain who took care of us throughout our stay. We were on a one bedroom boat which I highly recommend and we paid an additional fee for a trip down the narrow side canals the next morning: you must do this as you see local village life. The bed is enormous and all clean and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this houseboat again. There are many on the water but many are large and not well maintained. This boat is very clean and offers a more authentic experience.

We had a relaxing and peaceful 2 day cruise around the Kerala backwaters and then we were dropped back off in Alleppey. The boat was stunning and a really cool experience - we would definitely recommend this boat over one of the bigger, more commercial houseboats. Special thanks to Saji (chef on night 1), Roy (chef on night 2), Sanu and Jayabalan for making our stay so special. The staff were all amazing and wanted the guests to enjoy their stays.

The entire atmosphere inside the house boat was wonderful. From the moment  we start the cruise the staffs were friendly and very loyal to us. The food they preaperd for us had less spicy than we expected and also there were plethora of dishes had been servered on the table. The boat was well maintained and clean, I don't think so whether I can found an another boat with this much facilities and services. They were using  filtered water for all the purpose on their portfolio of boats. Whynot houseboat takes us to the mesmerizing scenic views which can be experienced on the backwaters. The boat Manager dealings and the services provided by the staff's were do nice. The boat sail through the alleppey backwater On a silent atmosphere without any rush and we cannot even hear any noise came our from the engine. The ‘Captain’ Manoj and his assistant Geethu together with our chef and Adie who waited on us all day were amazing. We got off the boat and purchased tiger prawns and calamari from the locals en route and our chef cooked these to perfection together with a total ‘banquet’ of delicious local dishes. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Pure decadence and excellent value. Lastly a huge thank you to Alush M (Front office manager) who organised us from instructions to finding the resort to offering us all the services the resort has to offer and ensuring our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this trip!
