The grounds of Borris House are like a movie set. The gardens, the horses and sheep really add to the charm. We stayed in double room and was ideal for our stay. The walk over Borris Viaduct through village was picturesque and lovely way to spend the afternoon.

We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. Great size of house, spacious kitchen diner and bedrooms. Bonus was each bedroom had ensuite showers. Very clean overall, crisp white bed linen. Towels and were also provided. The view was beautiful from the main room, looking out over the river. Owner kept in contact before arrival, which was a great personalised touch.

Superb studio flat, with all the kitchen appliances you can think of. We stayed in four (2+2) on a family trip and couldn't ask for more. The host is super welcoming and always ready to help, from the tiniest detail to the right size of pillow to suit you! Highly recommended!

This was our favourite stay from our whole trip around Ireland. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. The accommodation is above the traditional Irish pub, and we loved popping down, having a pint and talking to the bar staff. They kindly gave recommendations for the area, and let us know there is no evening meals available in the village at the moment (June 2025), so we headed to the next town over for dinner. We stayed for 2 nights - waking up for breakfast was a highlight. So many options and great cooked Irish brekkie. 10/10. We would recommend to anyone to stay at the Woodstock Arms!
