The location was great, central. From there, we could reach major city sites. It's also less-than-a-minute walk from the main street where we can easily grab a tuk tuk or an uber. The car doesn't reach the place by day because of the busy market and shops that are open but it's a very short stroll and it's pleasant: I loved walking through the market after a long sightseeing day, it was a chance to check nice clothing, and workshops of lakh bangles artists! Rashmi is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. He recommended great places for food, helped us plan a few matters like transport. He also offered us complementary breakfast that was enough to start the day! The room was 10/10 clean and very comfortable, with access to a central courtyard that made it pleasant.

The appartment is in a quiet place in Amer. Good if you want to explore Jaipur but dont want to stay in the busy city. It is in walking distance from amber fort and some other nice temples. The appartement is nice and very clean and you have a beautifull view over the city and the forts around it from the rooftop terrace, especially at sunrise and sunset! We had dinner here almost every night. The owners are very friendly and will always make time for you to explain things or even being you to places on the scooter. Manoj invited us for tea every day and we enjoyed talking with him at his favorite tea place in town. He helped us with buying a motor cycle, brought us to good, not too pricy restaurants and knows everyone in town so makes everything very easy for you.

This place is a hidden gem, the location is amazing, it is a really safe great area, 5 mins walk to Anokhi Cafe with plenty of other good restaurants and cafes nearby, also an added bonus of a nice 10 min walk to a really well stocked supermarket. The house was perfect , lots of lounging spaces and a lovely garden. My room was fabulous, spotlessly clean, unbelievably comfy bed with brand new duvet, white cotton bedding and snow white towels. The breakfast was delicious European or Indian prepaired by an amazing chef in the kitchen who also can provide a delicious evening meal. All the staff were really lovely kind people and couldn't do enough to help, with a smile. A fantastic family own the property and were happy to give lots of help, recommendations and advice..... like their staff, they could not have been kinder. As I woman travelling alone, I could not have felt more comfortable or safe.. Outstanding, highly recommended ✨✨✨

This is a nice way to stay comfortable in a home and feel like you are part of the family. This was the cleanest room I’ve had in India. It was also the best shower we had during our trip (except the drain was a bit slow to drain the water). The rooms are charming and unique. The floors keep the whole building cool. The breakfast was delightful and they have a different local dish each day in addition to any other food you request. The family and their staff were amazing! Super friendly, helpful, and kind. They also have a cool car you can rent for a day to drive around in!

Everything! It’s the best homestay I’ve ever stayed and not only in India. Wonderful house full of history, lovely hosts, spacious and very tastefully decorated bedrooms with bathrooms attached, tasty food - I recommend in 100% to stay here. It’s a gem in busy Jaipur :)

    We were 4 girls travelling alone and the first thing we were concerned about was safety and good location that feels safe. people here were really good made us feel very safe. It was very clean, staff was helpful as well. They took care of things. Will surely recommend it for girls travelling solo or in group, also it's good for family as well. Great place to live when you are in jaipur, it's value for money. Will strongly recommend Ashok villa.
