Tanya the manager was very helpful with all the different requests and we really loved our stay for 2 nights at Voda. Room was clean, no insects, very good breakfast and we were able to cook in our apartment room as well. Yes it is not close to the beach but we liked as its not that noisy compared to the beach area.

The breakfast spread was a highlight of our 15-day journey through Sri Lanka, featuring an array of delicious offerings including fruit, coconut sweet rolls, pancakes, toast, eggs, fresh juice, noodles, and fried vegetables, all enjoyed against a backdrop of stunning beach and sea views. Opting for dinner was a decision we didn't regret; the noodles and rice curry were simply outstanding. With direct access to the beach, guests can relax, swim, and witness breathtaking sunsets framed by swaying coconut trees. For the ultimate experience, I highly recommend selecting a room with a beach view. Bihara and his family are super friendly hosts. They did everything that we felt comfortable. Bihara was always reachable via Whatsapp and answered quickly if we had questions. The room was great, big with a comfy bed, great working AC, even hot shower and a big table with chair. Perfect for people like us who had to work. It has a kettle and free coffee and tea in the room as well as in the kitchen. There is a separate kitchen just for the guests. The living room is huge and has very big tables where you eat breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and we got every morning something different. Another plus is the fast internet connection (fibre optic), which we appreciated because of working. There was also a dedicated parking space for our own TukTuk.

The homestay is conveniently located at about 15-20 minutes from the Galle fort, railway station and the busstand. The owner was very helpful with everything; he guided us well about the local transport and sightseeing. Mirissa beach is about an hour's distance by bus and Hikkedua is about 35-40 minutes away. Unawatuna, on the other hand is just about 5 kms away from the hotel. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. You can borrow cutlery from their kitchen. AC and wifi worked very well. The owner even accomodated as for another day on a last minute notification. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I'd recommend it to all travellers in Galle.

Very nice place surrounded by nature (10 minutes away from Galle with Tuktuk) and run by a super nice family. Great pool ! 4 villas only, spacious and decorated with style, where you feel at home. We enjoyed local tasty food : delicious curry prepared on demand for dinner and different traditional breakfasts every morning.. We do recommend if you want to discover Galle, chilling in a very zen place.

Bars Beach Home was is set right one the beach with such lovely friendly staff. I stayed here for my birthday and it did not let me down at all. Everyone was so friendly, drinks were nice and a decent price. I was even given a birthday cake, definitely recommend staying here. Beautiful view of the sunset in the evening We did stay in the holiday home and had our own bathroom
