Holiday Rentals in Skardu

Where to start? Staying at Pacific guest house is pure joy. Siraj started communicating with me very early before my arrival, and he was there picking me up from the airport the day I arrived. I stayed with this wonderful family for 10 days and every day i felt i was pampered like in my own family. As I was working remote, they ensured I always had perfect internet (I always did!) electricity and everying needed (a good desk and chair, and tea to keep me going during the day). I had amazing conversations with Siraj and his super smart sister (Hulya) who are incredible humans, and also mum and dad are always working around and super helpful. The property is beatiful and the garden is incredible, with all kind of flowers, fruits and veggies. Every day I'd take my breakfast in the garden (any time it suited me, as they adapt) and they also supported me with all help I needed. Even I got sick one day and they ensured I had the right bland foods, the needed care and the right guidance. I cannot recommend enough this beautiful place and this gorgeous family. The rooms are spacious, light and comfy. I absolutely loved it! Location a bit uphill outside of the center, but it's a lovely walk (really nice after diinner) and the neighbours are so nice and kind that is a joy just to pass by every day. It's a 20 minute walk up to ManthaBudha rock too and on the way to Sadpara lake.

Truly, it's the perfect place to stay with families. Clean rooms and bathrooms, accompanied by a staff that's not just cooperative but exceptionally well-trained.The food - outstanding homemade meals that evoke the comfort of home even when you're miles away. Good Wi-Fi ,sockets near the bed, staying connected is effortless. For those seeking relaxation or exercise, the verdant garden provides a serene backdrop with the symphony of birdsong and vibrant blooms. My time with Team HIKK Inn was nothing short of exceptional. If you're planning a visit to Skardu, this is the place to be.

Warm greeting and welcome from Azhar with lots of helpful advice and knowledge - also has a great wall map of all local toursit opportunities. Room was thoughtfully decorated, good lighting, fan, extremely comfy bed and hot water. Good location, will hopefully stay again.

Lavender Cottages was like living in a fairy tale with all the beautiful flowers, wood scrollwork and architecture. The people there were so friendly and helpful. It is such a delightful, relaxing place with restaurants in easy walking’s distance. It is the perfect location to explore Khaplu Palace Fort, the Katpana cold desert and Upper Kachura Lake. At the end of a day of sight seeing, don’t miss an authentic Pakistani BBQ dinner at Lavender Cottages! If you are more adventurous, the proprietor spent decades doing the big treks to Pakistan’s biggest mountains and has even published a coffee table book with outstanding photography! We will definitely stay at Lavender Cottages on a return trip to Skardu to tackle the Concordia Trek!
