The host was extremely helpful has we were delayed departing gatwick by 1 hour, which messed up our train connection to get to Aveiro in good time, however the host was extremely understanding and helpful, when we got to the property we were amazed, the property was so clean and well kitted, coffee machine, air con, the list goes on. Top marks to the host, and I would mist definitely book that property again, thank you.

We stayed for just one night and the apartment was very comfortable. The host, David, was unable to greet us but he was very helpful and gave good instructions for check in. The apartment was clean and there was a lot of attention to detail and some imaginative towel folding! Good WiFi. Parking on site was an advantage and although limited we managed to get a space. There is free street parking right outside also if required. The location is excellent and is just a few minutes walk to the canal and a supermarket next door.

What a fabulous place. The accommodation was superb, and the location was wonderful. Our unit looked directly over the city and the canal, and it was so pretty watching all the boats sailing up and down the canal. So close to walk to everything. Disappointed we only stayed the one night but would definitely recommend. The owner of the property can not speak English, so a cousin communicated with us and met as at the property. He helped us with our luggage, the building has a tiny ancient lift which was an experience and adventure in itself, with lots of laughing. I'm so sorry, but I have forgotten the gentleman's name, but he made sure we had everything we needed, not to mention the lovely gift from the owner of some local delicacies. Exceeded all our expectations. Thank you all.

The breakfast was excellent with a great variety including pastries, fruits, local ham, and cheese etc. The location is accessible to nature (ie. for walks, running or cycling) and situated close to the highways with a very easy walk to Aveiro centre! Georgina, your host, was warmly welcoming and a delight, as was her accommodation. Breakfast, included in the rental, was exceptional. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the rural tranquility, immaculate pool, and lovely gardens. Storks were nesting close by, and on the way to the village we passed a cart drawn by an ox. It was an authentic taste of Portugal.

Magnificent refurbished villa overlooking one of the lagoons, and very comfortable. The rooftop bar (self service) and terrace were lovely, and the breakfast was exceptional. The bed, sheets, and shower were excellent.

The breakfast was amazing, we were the only two guests staying in the property, but a big buffet was prepared for us anyways. Our host was very friendly and accomodating. The garden is extremely beautiful and we ended up spending a lot of time at the property and just relaxing in the garden :) There is not much to do in the village, but it is close to Aveiro and the beaches of Costa Nova (10-20 minutes by car). Everything was extremely clean and the room was very nice!

The location is just perfect and the house has all the amenities you could ask for. When you walk out the front door it makes you feel like you have been dropped in a small Portuguese village. Lots of shops and restaurants to be found when roaming the little streets away from the city center.
