Marisa and Thomas were kind and attentive hosts. We had a long chat with Thomas who was full of information regarding the surrounding areas and all the amazing excursion options. Their son, Chayton, is himself an excellent guide who took us on an amazing excursion to see the mysterious source of the Columbia River. Deep in the rainforest, it bubbles from underground, a crystal clear beautiful set of cascades.
Suncreek lodge is well kept and the cottage we stayed in was beautifully crafted in wood and very comfortable. We had a wonderful night sleep. Thanks so much Chayton, Thomas and Marisa for a great experience.

The room was big, the AC worked very well, the shower was very nice and warm. We got a lot of information from the host about bus, ferry, shops and restaurants.

Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 85 reviews
Waking up to the sounds of the forest The room was spacious enough, and the wi-fi in our particular cottage worked surprisingly well. The breakfast was excellent. There is a restaurant for a no-frills dinner within walking distance. Make sure you bring a flashlight! The outside bathroom was not a problem. The Maya village of San Marcos can easily be walked to.
