Before the trip is confirmed. Sarah was already so helpful to share her recommendations to me planning the trip for the best experience. We took two days train in, Taylor picked us up from the train station and drove us to the place. Although the town is small and it was just a 2 min drive, it was a freezing windy morning that it would be tough for walking with the luggage. At check-in, Taylor explained us the town, where to go, the best practice to avoid being eaten by Polar bears, and which and where is the best tour and place to go for searching polar bears. They also offer additional value-added service beyond the accommodation that give you a better trip experience at a much fair price vs out in the town. While everything is much costly at this rural area with no road access. it is definitely a GEM place that I will come back again, I feel grateful to have Sarah & Taylor being the host of our Churchill trip. Taylor was very kind and even offer us drop off & pick up to the Tundra buggy meet up place at no cost on a rainy day. (I am typing all these in a relax afternoon, staying at their place after checked out, waiting for the train at 6:30 pm) The stay comes with breakfast included, it is not a fancy one you can get in a 5 stars hotel at the big city but it is definitely a decent one that give you enough energy to start your day for a polar bear search with Tundra buggy or on your own. Kitchen is stocked with the basic cutlery equipment & supply that you can cook on your own instead of eating outside (Lazy Bear was a perfect one that Taylor recommended, it worths the price but I just won't go every night). the Room is very cozy, it has all you would need. Imagine most of your day is out to explore and search for wild animals, you probably wanna spend your money on Tundra buggy tour, the helicopter tour, the car rental and etc.

Host is very courteous and kind. Basement suite is super clean and cozy. Absolutely loved it. The calm and tranquil was next level. Microwave / fridge / kettle / coffee maker and toiletries were all in place. Side entrance kept the privacy and I could park on the driveway which was another plus.

Dave and Celine were exceptional hosts. Not only did they pick us up at the train station but also made themselves available for all of our needs. They used maps to help us navigate the town and shared details on places to go and places to eat. Knowing that I wanted to see Northern Lights, Celine spent over an hour outside with me showing me where and how to take photos. An amazing experience I will never forget and am deeply thankful to her for doing this. Their home is immaculate and replete with all kinds of photos and local artifacts. It was a wonderful experience for us. We will definitely stay there again when we return. And we will let others know of their lovely home.

Comfortable home near airport se nachází v destinaci Winnipeg. Canadian Museum for Human Rights se nachází 7,2 km daleko, Forks Market 7,2 km a McPhillips Station Casino 7,3 km. Very close to everything we needed to go to. Near airport, Polo Park and pretty much any place we had to go to along St. James. Place was very neat, well maintained and secure. Rooms were decent sized and owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. Kitchen was well stocked and the owner even provided bottled water and snacks for our stay.
