This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. Everything was perfect, we could leave our luggage at the very morning and then get it back after check out hours, and our host was very nice and helpful all the time, highly recommend!

Hostal Villa del Sol poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Salento. Jen 47 km odtud se nachází Ukumari Zoo a Pereira's Botanical Garden je 36 km daleko. We loved our stay here! The location is great - close to the main square and restaurants, but quiet in the evening. Our room was on the main road and whilst there was some occasional noise in the night, this is unavoidable and didn’t impact us. The view from the courtyard is incredible. The room itself was very clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and we had plenty of blankets to keep warm as the temperature dropped in the night. There was soap provided in the bathroom which we didn’t expect for the price! Our room wasn’t cleaned during the 3 night stay but it was offered to us (I.e. not done automatically but on request). We didn’t make use of the communal kitchen, but it’s great to have the option to make your own food. There is also a mini mart next door so this would be very easy! Also a nice perk that coffee and water are free. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming - they helped us with recommendations, taxis, and even did some laundry for us for no charge. Diego in particular was always very attentive!

La casa de Alejo poskytuje ubytování v destinaci Salento. Pereira's Botanical Garden se nachází 35 km odtud, Technological University of Pereira 35 km a Pereira's Art Museum 35 km. Alejo is a wonderful host. The habitación is perfect: a small kitchen, great shower and good beds. It's at a 5 minute walking distance from the center and there are a lot of shops in the neighborhood.

If you are looking for rest after long day, that’ll it. In house was everything we needed. Communication was great.
