The place was perfect for travelers in every scale! The location is right at the start of the quilotoa treck, the views are exceptional, the room was clean and well equipped. There are games and books for the free time, and they had food options for people with restrictions (Im vegetarian and have an allergy to gluten). There are hot water for shower (you just need to know that you should open it for a bit, and not all the way). Also there is a service of transporting your big muchilas to the end of the trail, and a lunch bag to go. Above all the hospitality was so lovely, we got help with everything we needed (including a ride to the atm!). Would definitely recommend!

We spent two nights here while we were hiking the Quilatoa Loop. This is an amazing place to stay in Chugchilan. You will feel so welcomed by the family who owns the hostel - they are so kind and gracious and make you feel so comfortable and at home. The vegetarian meals were huge and delicious and there was banana bread available all day as well as coffee and tea. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The cat Theresa is so friendly and the sweetest little boy lives here!!

Hostal the backpackers tiene salón de uso común, terraza, restaurante y bar en Chugchilán. Walter and Narcisa were so kind to us! It felt more like a home stay than a hostal. They even arranged a special breakfast for my husbands birthday! I would absolutely recommend this hostal to anyone! The shower was hot, the beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. There is also a lovely patio space upstairs.

We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well.

Desayuno completo y muy rico. La ubicación es bien cerca del parque nacional Cotopaxi. Ademas se puede usar la cocina de la casa, heladera y demás.

Hostal El Inca se encuentra en Chucchilán y dispone de jardín. El alojamiento ofrece recepción 24 horas, traslado para ir o volver del aeropuerto, cocina compartida y wifi gratis en todo el... Very warm and friendly family business, we had dinner together and some nice talks. Most of the food is grown organically behind the house. The hosts also gave good recommendations about the quilotoa hike. It looks like it is a little off the loop track but actually it is not, you just go up from the view point and you will be right there! The room was comfortable with view on the mountains. Highly recommend to stay here, I would have loved to stay longer

Hostal Sendero de Volcanes se encuentra en Latacunga y dispone de jardín, terraza, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. This place is very nice, the staff was friendly and helpful. They kindly explained the activities around, we did the tour to Cotopaxi volcano and it was incredible with professional guide. I recommend this hostel, the rooms are cozy and clean, they offer laundry and restaurant service for dinner and breakfast in a beautiful commun area. Plus it is located close from the historical center and downtown.
