Great views on the balcony for breakfast. Most importantly, staff were amazing, helpful and welcoming. They provided advice on how to get to main sites in Aswan, helped us secure good prices and booked day trip to Abu Simbel. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! Thank you again for making our stay on Elephantine very nice and memorable , I was truly overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality at this place. Ahmed the owner, along with his staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They arranged a car from the airport, and the driver was in touch with me well in advance of my arrival. Despite my late arrival, Ahmed prepared a delicious homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. She also organized a felucca ride on short notice, again at a fair rate. During our conversations, I shared some stories about my family who couldn’t join me on the trip. In a beautiful and thoughtful gesture, Ahmed gave a small gift for my wife and kids — a touching example of Nubian hospitality and culture that really stayed with me. On my first day, her son kindly accompanied me on the ferry to help me get familiar with the area — another thoughtful gesture I really appreciated. Every request I had was taken care of promptly and with genuine care. Do note that the place is located on an island, so you'll need to take a ferry to get in and out. The service is frequent, but it’s something to be aware of when planning. Overall, an exceptional stay with an incredibly kind and generous host family. : They arrange for me all tours around Aswan and Luxor with very reasonable prices I will come back sure

The location was really nice. Abu was very friendly and help us to book tours and transfers at very good prices. The room was very clean and spacious. Also the food was the best we had in Aswan. Also the two boys named Mohnamed and Abdul were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. We recommend Abu guest house to everyone visiting Aswan.

The location, the owner, everything in this apartment was great. If you will spent the night in Abu Simbal you definitely should stay in this apartment. 10 min by walk from the temple. The breakfast is included and it will in the nearby hotel Tuya which also a good place to take a drink or to eat while waiting for the night show. But the most important thing that you need to know is the kindness of the owner. He was helping us, before, during and after our stay. Thank you so much

The apartment is very clean and has amazing views of Aswan. It’s situated in Elephantine island, which you can get to quite easily by paying 10EGP per person running pretty much all day (6am-12am). There’s also a shop and a restaurant on the island, which comes handy. The property owner Mohammed is also super helpful and responsive. He helped us to arrange privates car for our tour of Luxor and Abu Simbel, as well as airport transfers. Very happy with our stay, thanks for having us!

Balená voda v ledničce na chodbě dostupná zdarma v jakémkoliv množství. Pan majitel byl velmi vstřícný a komunikativní. Ubytování je umístěné hned u vody, kde kotvila loď. Nebyl problém s panem majitelem domluvit ranní projížďku k Abú Simbel - to byl opravdu krásný zážitek. Dobrá snídaně podle egyptského zvyku, kterou máme rádi.

Gamal Robob Nubian Guest House se nachází v destinaci Asuán, nedaleko od zajímavých míst, jako je Núbijské muzeum a Kitchener's Island. We spent 2 nights here . Wish we spent more . So sad to leave this place ! The room was exactly like the pictures . Spacious and clean , has all what you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom has hot water as well . The view from the Roof is breathtaking and so peaceful. We had an amazing breakfast there as well as dinner that we asked the host to prepare it for us. Just one word FANTASTIC and so tasty. The host ( Doha ) was taking care of us , helped us do a boat tour and arranged Abu simble trip for us ; When we had to leave at 3:40 am for it , she even packed breakfast for us to take away. Honestly such a sweet and thoughtful gesture . We felt very welcomed and they treated us like guests not like strangers. One important thing is that the hosts were very honest too ! I can’t recommend this place enough . - the location is also very convenient: 5 min by car from train station and then 5 min max by the public ferry boat.

Enjoyed a fantastic stay at a hotel with friendly staff, particularly Kareem, who fulfilled all our requests with a smile. The rooms were clean. The terrace restaurant offered affordable, fresh local cuisine and shisha. We really enjoyed it! The well-planned Abu Simbel Temple tour included an early breakfast meal box, allowing us to avoid crowds and explore leisurely. Overall, a delightful experience in Aswan thanks to the hotel's excellent service and thoughtful arrangements. Highly recommended!
