At the tail end of a 3 week stay in Egypt we decided last minute to visit Tunis. It was high season there (December) and all of the top-rated hotels were completely booked. We stumbled upon this listing and are so glad we did! Everything was wonderful. The home was quaint and comfortable with excellent views of the lake. It's very well kept, clean, and everything works as it should.The house keeper, Ahmed was very friendly and eager to helpl. Gamal (the owner) was easy to contact and had us setup with last minute excursions. The whole family had a blast. Our short stay in Tunis was so much fun, there's so much to do and see. We plan to be back, and will book Sunhouse again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The garden is perfect to chill outdoors while staying in the comfort and privacy of your home. The heated pool was an extra perk. The host was very friendly and helpful. The price is very reasonable. I ate out most of my stay, hired a jeep driver and toured around all the time and still ended up paying less than what other hotels in Tunis charged. Tunis is a lovely village on its own, perfect to enjoy the Egyptian countryside without giving up 'western' comforts. With the help of a driver, at a very reasonable price, one can also explore the wonderful Fayoum area which is really rich with naturalistic and archeological sites that are worth visiting

Tunis Camp Fayoum se encuentra en El Fayum y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año, wifi gratis, jardín y terraza. Espectacular. Fayoum es espectacular, y este alojamiento es la caña. Habíamos reservado tiendas pero llegamos muy cansados y nos facilitaron cambiar a habitaciones individuales. Estas estaban limpísimas y nuevas. La ducha es espectacular y las camas muy cómodas y calentitas para la noche, que refrescaba un poco. Todos los accesos a la habitación tienen mosquiteras y la verdad es que llevaba un alijo de antimosquitos, que no necesité usar ni dentro de la habitación ni afuera. La hospitalidad fue inmejorable, y la tranquilidad también. Vi el amanecer al canto de pájaros de todo tipo y, al fondo, el lago Qarún. Volveré a esta cámping si Dios quiere. Y espero que lo quiera.
