The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Comfortable, clean, great location! Wonderful breakfast and host!

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... It’s far away from the hustle and bustle of Keswick. The room is comfortable and clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Lots of choices for breakfast and the food is great. Tasty dinner with a reasonable price. A short walk from the B&B, through the fields can easily reach the Bassenthwaite Lake. Sitting at the patio at dusk, a glass of beer accompanies us to drive away the fatigue of the whole day. Staying here for three nights completed our visit to the Lake District.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.
