The setting is idyllic, the accomodation completely in keeping with the environment yet all comforts are considered and the room and bathroom spotlessly clean.... and a wonderfully comfortable bed in which to fall asleep in listening to the gurgling river. They booked a safari for me and took care of all the arrangements. The food was delicious and the people could not have been more welcoming, kind and considerate. I travel a lot and this place is one of my best 'finds'.

It was on the Ramnagar Ranikhet road and yet, it was private enough. The apartment was very well laid out, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy balcony with a swing, with a bath tub to boot. The apartment looks out to a very nice garden. The hosts are extremely gracious and the caretaker, Jassi was very hands on and took care of the smallest of requirements. Most of all, we loved the paneer parathas with mango achaar for breakfast and the chicken curry and piping hot phulkas we had for dinner. We would definitely love to go back. It was like a home away from home.

From the moment I booked my stay the host, Maaz reached out and made our holiday experience so smooth and great from helping arrange our safari to small details as ensuring our hot tea with snacks were ready just as we got back to the cottage from our day trip to Nainital famished 😀. The staff were also very warm and pleasant. Food was great just as homely as our stay. The cottage has a lot of charm and character with a lot of attention to details. It was a beautiful wholesome experience and would definitely go back sometime again.
