Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. The hotel is amazing! Very clean and cozy. Staff is extremely polite. I read in comments that it was the best guesthouse/hostel travellers stayed whenever before. So, I can confirm this! It really is!

It was clean, safe and quiet. There is a kitchen so you can eat your meals at the guesthouse and don’t need to worry about finding food. They offer a shuttle to the nearest station and museum which was a great help as the guesthouse is a bit secluded in a quiet neighborhood. There are hiking trails nearby and would love to visit again and explore more of the area around the guesthouse.

The hotel has an amazing atmosphere with the traditional rooms and beds while you have all the modern amneties you would need. Staff is nice, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. We have visited 3 times and it always is a wonderful treat. Great baths, great breakfast, lovely room. Warm recommendation for couples.

The Edo Sakura byl otevřen v červnu 2013. Nabízí ubytování v řadovém domě v japonském stylu Machiya, 5 minut chůze od stanice metra Iriya a 10 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží JR Uguisudani. Everybody was very nice and helpful, it's in a quiet area, very nice! Breakfast is not included in the price, but it's very good!
