We had an amazing stay at this apartment. Even though we arrived very late, someone was there to welcome us, hand us the keys, and explain everything clearly. Every morning a lovely lady prepared fresh breakfast for us, and the place was always clean and comfortable. The pool is fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The beach is just a 10–15 minute walk, and the nearest supermarket is about 7 minutes away. The staff were incredibly kind. If you’re staying in Watamu and want to relax and enjoy your time, this is a place I can recommend. Absolutely worth it!

Loved the feeling of being in our own little forest with monkeys and birds all around. Open air shower is so refreshing. Not a far walk to the most amazing beach. Think its a brilliant idea with different kinds of accommodations available for different budgets and preferences. The Snackbar was wonderful. Stanley and his team really makes amazing food.

Great location, wonderful staff, beautiful beach that is easily accessible at edge of property. Air-conditioning in room was ideal-very pleasant and wifi was strong enough to work remotely with no issue. Try Stanley's lime marmalade!

We booked a week at the Rafiki Jua in Watamu, precisely the Rafiki Jua is located inside the Rafiki Tamu, a brand new residence consisting of several apartments (The structure looks like in the photos). Rafiki Tamu is a modern and new structure located exactly halfway between Watamu center and the beautiful beach of Sardinia 2. Our apartment was on the ground floor, overlooking the pool, consisting of dining room with kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All nicely decorated with a fantastic African style. Inside the structure the entire staff is super helpful, consisting of receptionists, security, cleaning and laundry service (included in the price), masseuses at a very competitive price, chef (available to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners). For those who do not want to experience a village I highly recommend Rafiki.

The beautifully decorated house is in a nice location with a great view of the marina. Nestled between some private properties and the renowned Mtwapa Marina. It’s the perfect place to go relax and recharge. Cleaned every day for us. (One can choose alternate days too) , the house was an immaculate home away from home. The private pool and jacuzzi was an awesome welcome especially in the sweltering Mombasa heat. Getting a chef for meal prep was ideal as you concentrate on your Rest, Recharge, Recovery and Relaxation 😎 The entire team made sure that we had a great time. We have found our home in Mtwapa. ❤️

Banana Villas se může pochlubit výhledem do zahrady a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem a balkonem. Pláž Turtle Bay Beach se nachází přibližně 200 metrů odtud. A truly wonderful stay, so many special memories made. From the moment of booking, the owners Martin and Daisy were really helpful, offering to get us supplies for our arrival and sort transfers, the help continued throughout our stay, providing us great tips for the area and sorting tuk tuks etc. The house exceeded expectations, it’s nice and spacious and cleaned daily. It’s in a peaceful area and very secure, close to the beach and popular spots in Watamu. The pool is a great size and cleaned daily with a beautiful surrounding garden to relax in, including Sun beds, a swinging bench (great morning coffee spot!) and outdoor dining area. We spent most evenings out here having night swims and had takeaway from the owners Resteraunt ‘Mama Kuku’, lovely local food, cheap and deliver - great when you have children and don’t want to head out for food all the time. We were sad to leave! But we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Martin & Daisy, we look forward to visiting again :)

Very lovely and private place,not many people. Gladys is very helpful and all the staffs are friendly. I would definitely come back again. It’s a few minutes walk to the beach and has everything easily accessible from here. Don’t even think twice about booking this place!
