The highlight, though, was the kindness and care given to us by Niranjala and her family. They made sure we had everything we needed, and even provided a cooking class so we could learn how to make Sri Lankan dishes. We were so happy to spend a couple nights at Bliss Homestay. They really know what hospitality means.

The room is spacious, tastefully decorated, with a clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The view from the balcony (both from the room and the breakfast area) is breathtaking and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. To top it off, breakfast is fresh, copious and with a good mix of local and more Western options. The only thing we regret is that we could stay only one night.
