Great place to stay! The family who own it were beyond lovely and helpful. They arranged a tuktuk to collect me from the next door town after a terrible bus journey, organised brilliant safaris (I saw 7 rhinos in the jeeps, some very close!) and helped to get the bus to Bandipur. He would WhatsApp when Rhinos could be spotted in the village to come and see. The hotel was clean, great location, has mosquito nets over the bed and good working fans (it is very hot in Chitwan in end of May!!).

My friend and I had such a wonderful time at Tara’s Guest house. As everyone has already said it, it is a wonderful family in which everyone goes out of their way to help and support you. They are always smiling! From the didi who made our rooms, to aunty who took us around the village on our first day, to Vicky who is always there to help you with any kind of bookings, we are grateful for their warmth and hospitality! :)

Tiger Corner Inn Homestay poskytuje zahradu, terasu a bankomat. Tharu Cultural Museum je 1,3 km odtud. Na místě je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma. Hostitelé jsou úžasní lidé, člověk se tu cící jako doma. Pokoj měl vše, co jsem potřebovala. Nabídka jídla není nijak rozsáhlá, ale jídlo je vynikající. Vše, co jsem zde jedla, bylo výborné. Rodina má vlastní krávy, takže mléko a jogurt má vlastní. Pomohli mi s výběrem programu safari tak, abych toho viděla, co nejvíce. Ráda bych se někdy vrátila.

Hotel Rhinoceros-Homestay poskytuje ubytování v destinaci Sauraha. Tharu Cultural Museum se nachází 1,8 km odtud. Everything was perfect and had very good stay. We also joined jeep safari and canoeing tour.

KC's Home se nachází v destinaci Sauraha a má restauraci, sdílený lounge, bar, zahradu, terasu a výhled do zahrady. Our stay at KC’s Home in Chitwan was nothing short of heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from answering our many queries to arranging our safari packages and even helping us book a car ride to Pokhara. The breakfast spread was another highlight. Whether you’re into à la carte options or prefer a buffet, the morning meal was both generous and delicious. The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures. A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.

If you’re looking for an authentic homestay, in the middle of rural Nepal where you can relax and enjoy Nepalese culture and food, then this is the perfect place. The family is kind and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. The rooms are spacious though not super luxurious (which is to be expected being this far from commercial touristic places to be fair). They also arranged a jungle safari for us! We loved our stay here!
