This hotel has great staff. The receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and spoke brilliant English. He was happy to offer restaurant recommendations which no-one does any more. The morning receptionist asked us if everything had been OK during our stay. This is a first for us, a hotel which actually cares to ask if you had a nice stay. So well done. Our room was lovely, just big enough, with air con, a comfortable bed and a great shower. We also had the bonus of a small balcony from which we enjoyed watching the sun go down over the river. The room had a fridge, fancy coffee machine with two free pods, free bottled water and free toiletries. All very much appreciated. Location is great, it is right in the center of town. And while this means they do not have a car park, there is a large, free car park located just down the hill, below the hotel. You can park the car, then take the lift up, and walk two minutes to the hotel entrance. Very convenient. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious. We throughly enjoyed bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast, with great coffee. We would return here again just for the breakfast, and the lovely staff.

Especially the restoration of the building was done perfectly. It was modernized while remaining faithful to its historical character—extremely elegant, with harmonious colors, the use of high-quality materials, and the preservation of the building’s original features. It was truly beautiful.Like as the Same pic as they show. Beyond that, the apartment was equipped with all the necessary amenities. Having two separate bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and toilet, was extremely practical. Moreover, the two bedrooms are located quite far from each other, which adds privacy. The kitchen and living area in the middle were very smartly designed. A luxurious, stylish, and elegant apartment. Additionally, the materials used were of very high quality. The beds were extremely comfortable and spotless. There is absolutely nothing to criticize in terms of cleanliness. Furthermore, even the sponge and cloth for washing dishes were provided in individual, clearly separate packages for each guest. The slippers left in the apartment were comfortable and soft. The welcome box containing water and chips was a classy touch. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered.Wi fee was very good, also TV. It also felt very secure. There is an elevator in the building. While there isn’t a full-time reception, there is a staff member present who fulfills that role when needed. Since we didn’t use the breakfast service, I can’t comment on that. Overall, we were extremely satisfied. The apartment was spacious, with high ceilings, very clean, well-organized, and airy. If I ever go to Porto again, I would definitely stay here.
