The employee I spoke with on the phone was exceptionally kind and helpful. There’s a cute breakfast place with great bagels a few minutes away called Jimmy & Joans, and a really good specialty coffee place called A43 Coffee. And lots of nice bars and restaurants to discover in the neighbourhood. Also, the building itself and its immediate surroundings are very nice. And finally, having a washing machine in the basement was a huge plus.

I had the pleasure of staying at a truly comfortable, clean, and cozy apartment. It provided a delightful retreat with a beautiful lake and a lovely beach just across the road. The convenient location near Gothenburg, easily accessible via the motorway, made it even more appealing. The host's kindness and hospitality added to the overall experience. Everything was simply perfect during my stay.

Fantastic private sauna. The house was small but enough for us two, and very clean. Peace and quiet. The host Marie is very kind and helpful.

One of the best, if not the best accomodation during our road trip -we stayed at ca. 10 different places in total over ca. 2 weeks (incl. some allegedly 4-star hotels) so we feel we have a good baseline. Whilst there is a bus stop across the street, you need a car to be able to commute comfortably to this location from Stromstad. The flat itself is well-equipped, excellently arranged and designed with a fully equipped and functional kitchen, and a bathroom with a washing machine, which was a big plus for us. The bed we used (there are two probably king-size beds in the property) was comfortable and we really liked the neighboorhood. We also enjoyed the balcony in the evening as the weather was excellent and the relaxing sound of the neighbour's water element was a great way to wrap up a tiring day. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others - keep up the good work!

I am a motorcyclist and I have been in hundreds of hotels and B&B, but this has been far by the best. Let me explain. I entered Ekegarden and was later introduced to Tina, the owner. She knocked on my door and walked in with a glass of milk and a Swedish pastry. Who does that! She asked me if I had lunch and offered to drive me to the local Golf course, which I agreed to. "I will pick you up in an hour". Left on my own, I had a wonderful pasta dish with salmon and shrimp. Tina was right. The late lunch was wonderful. Afterwards, she picked me up and drove me back to the Ekegarden. Tina's B&B have wonderful guests and when I had breakfast I met a kind Scot by the name of Allen. We traded history and stories. This is where you meet like minded people. Tina has a wonderful B&B, and she was an incredible host. Love you Tina. Great stay and I would recommend this place to anyone. My best stay in 40,000 kms of motorcyle travel. Bless you Tina! Scott Maynard.
