Fantastic place! Located in a small and quiet alley, just 20 minutes walk to the Royal Palace, it's an old, traditional house, which has been renovated with great taste. All people from the family that run the place are very lovely and helpful. The room, bathroom and the common facilities are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was tasty too. I will definitely choose that place again if I'll go back to Bangkok: highly recommended!

Great location: Only a 10min walk to the Blue metro line. Lots of restaurants in the food court in the metro station. Local restaurants within walking distance, and tons of Grab options. Being down a few side streets also meant it was a quiet area without too much traffic. Staff: Very friendly staff, we arrived very early in the morning and a staff member was there to check us in. That small gesture was wonderful. Every time we saw them they were always smiling, and seemed genuinely happy. Cleanliness: All the common areas were cleaned daily. If you wanted your room made up you just had to hang up the sign. Features: I appreciated that each floor had a communal sink so that you could clean your dishes, and cutlery (provided in the room) after eating. AC worked well, and cooled the room down quickly.

I loved the location if your looking for a real bangkok experience, it's close by to 3 corner shops and the local area is amazing lovely food for great prices most of my Meals cost 50Baht. The facilities are great all you need for a stay in BKK

We absolutely loved our stay at neil niwas! This is our fourth time in Bangkok, and it's now our favorite place to stay in the city – we'll definitely be back. Housed in the most beautiful colonial Thai house, the property is absolutely stunning. With only four rooms, it feels wonderfully cozy and authentic. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from Wat Arun. Breakfast really exceeded our expectations. Not only was it delicious, but it was beautifully presented and served on the patio overlooking a small canal. We loved watching the city wake up, and the longtail boats pass by – the perfect start to our days in Bangkok.

A true gem in Bangkok. Very close to the attractions of the city centre, but far enough to be quiet. The guesthouse has been recently renovated and everything is very clean to the smallest detail. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even let us keep the room until the next afternoon to take a shower before our flight. It would be my first option next time in Bangkok.
